Clawford Lakes

The Main Match lake.

JRs Lake is a 44 peg lake with three islands.

This is the biggest Lake on the Clawford complex at just over 5 acres and is 3.5 to 13 feet deep.

It is situated to the South West of the Complex above Tanners Lake.

The Lake has some interesting features with plenty of trees & reeds for cover.

The lake shares it's South Bank with Tanners Lake.

 

It is well stocked with every species of fish on the Clawford complex, Carp, bream, roach, Rudd, Tench & Crucian Carp.

JRs Lake is presently stocked at over 2,200 lbs. per acre.

Carp go up to 25 lbs.

This lake may be fished on a day ticket.

JRs Lake can be booked by angling clubs for organized matches, throughout the year.

Facilities are available to hold 'fur and feather' functions throughout the year.

During the 2017 July Festival, Fred Jones weighed in a mixed bag weighing in at 103 lbs. 9 oz.
